High-speed retail point-of-sale: barcode scanning, offline register caching, cash/card split tenders, daily Z-reports, and instant simplified tax invoices.
Point of Sale (POS) & Retail Storefront Checkout
Retail stores, showrooms, and counter-sale businesses require cashier interfaces that are rapid, intuitive, and capable of processing transactions in seconds without risking compliance violations. BIZA POS pairs a keyboard-friendly point-of-sale interface with direct inventory decrement and ZATCA Phase 2 Simplified Tax Invoicing.
1. High-Speed Cashier Interface
Built for busy retail counters:
- Barcode Scanner Support: Plug-and-play compatibility with standard USB and Bluetooth barcode/QR scanners. Scanning instantly adds items to the cart.
- Quick Item Search & Visual Grid: Cashiers can search by item name, SKU, or category, or select popular items from visual thumbnail tiles.
- Weighing Scale & Unit Conversions: Support for weighed produce, fractional units (kg, meters, liters), and standard packaged units.
2. Multi-Tender & Split Payments
Customer payments can be split across multiple payment methods within a single receipt:
- Cash Management: Quick cash denomination buttons, automated change due calculations.
- Card & Electronic Payments: Support for integrated POS card terminals (mada, Visa, Mastercard) with transaction reference capture.
- Store Credit & Loyalty: Apply customer loyalty points, promotional discount vouchers, or advance customer deposits.
3. ZATCA Simplified Tax Invoicing (B2C)
Every completed retail transaction generates a legally compliant Simplified Tax Invoice:
- Instant Thermal Printing: Print directly to standard 80mm or 58mm thermal receipt printers without preview dialog lag.
- Mandatory TLV QR Code: Includes the cryptographic TLV QR code containing seller name, VAT registration number, timestamp, total with VAT, and VAT amount.
- Bilingual Arabic/English: Receipts format cleanly with Arabic and English descriptions side by side.
- Background Reporting: BIZA queues the invoice and reports it to the ZATCA Fatoora API within the statutory 24-hour window.
4. Cashier Shifts & Daily Register Closing (Z-Report)
Maintain tight cash controls across multiple cashiers and shift changes:
- Opening Float: Cashiers declare opening cash when starting a shift.
- Mid-Shift Cash Drops: Record cash transfers from the register drawer to the secure store safe.
- Shift Closing (Z-Report): At the end of the day or shift, the register closes:
- Generates an official Z-Report summarizing total cash sales, card sales, discounts, refunds, and expected cash in drawer.
- Captures actual counted cash and flags overages or shortages.
- Posts a balanced daily summary journal entry to the General Ledger.
